Beautifully Done Dexter Theme
This just makes me want Dexter to start even more. I seriously got chills when the video started up. Well done, dude!
Do you watch Dexter? Excited for the upcoming season? I can’t wait to see Edward James Olmos in it!

I know the world has almost completely exhausted itself of Nyan Cat jokes, but today I stumbled upon one more that topped the rest of them forever. Behold — Nyan Cat performed by a real life orchestra. A full orchestra, guys. Like, picture people in suits, sitting in a classy auditorium, Nyan-ing ALL DAY LONG.
I don’t know about you, but I listened to the whole thing. Multiple times. And let it play as I typed up this post. And now my roommate is trying to watch Spongebob next to me but he can’t hear because I keep turning it up.
Nyan!
This is a total lame cop-out of a post, but I realized I wanted to talk about the TV shows I am excited about starting up again this fall but that I had already done it once somewhere else. So behold.. I give you… one of my vlogs.
Because I am sort of a TV show junkie, I thought it might be fun to list all the shows I’m excited about returning and starting for the first time, as well as what network they air on, and the day they premiere. Do we watch any of the same shows? Are there any great shows that I’m forgetting about or exciting looking new ones that I may not have heard about yet?
Sorry to get all vloggy on you guys up in here… I promise I won’t do it again. You know, until next time I vlog about something relevant. I may have been sorted into Hufflepuff on Pottermore, but I’ve still got the laziness of a Slytherin.
I LOVE laser tag. I used to go down to our local laser tag arena weekly for their Sunday evening “All You Can Play” session. But as I got older, I just didn’t feel right about making 8-year-old boys cry anymore. So I needed to find somewhere else to play. I moved on to buying laser tag sets of my own, starting with Hasbro’s Lazer Tag NERF. These guns were pretty cool, and had a good feel to them, but there was only so long that my friends and I could run aimlessly around shooting each other.
Enter Ubisoft’s Battle Tag. This system comes with guns and vests, but also comes with ammo, base and “med pack” stations, and a set up to play multiple types of games and keep score of the players. You can play teams, individually, tag-style games, and even have a Wild West-style duel. One of our favorite games will tag you as “The Wolf,” and you must try to tag someone else by shooting them, while everyone is running away from you, trying to bank points at one of the base stations.
Kristina and I got together with some of my friends, put on matching patriotic kitten shirts and war paint, and headed out to play. Check out the footage:
We obviously had a blast. I would totally recommend this product to anyone looking for a fun way to get a bit of exercise and turn that FPS you love into a (less dangerous) reality.
Want to try Battle Tag yourself? The systems are a bit hard to find at the moment, but lucky for you, we have a set to give away! Leave a comment letting us know your dream laser tag scenario. Where would you play? With who? What mode? We’ll randomly select a winner on September 26th. (And we’d LOVE if the winner could send in photos/videos of them playing with the set. We’ll even post them!)
Edits with more Info:
This contest will be for US only, unfortunately.
The Battle Tag Starter Set we are giving away includes:
2 Sensor vests
2 T-blasters
2 Ammo Packs

The set retailed for $129.99, and had an extremely limited run.
WE HAVE A WINNER! The winner of the laser tag set (picked by Random.org) is:

Well, this about sums up my feelings on Mondays. Also, Freddy’s awesome.
How many gaming references did you see? (I saw a whole lot of GTA with a spot of Frogger myself.)
I’m sorry, and you’re welcome.
This video is hilarious, and I think it should be left at that. Because I just don’t even want to know when and where the porn comes in, and with who.
And seriously, is it THAT tough to find a female porn actress that can actually act? (Luke, on the other hand, is pretty fantastic.)
By now you all know that The Hobbit is in production, and will be in theaters in 2012. But do you know the story of The Hobbit? The Brothers Grim and Grimy are here to help!

I had to read The Hobbit in elementary school. It was the first book I couldn’t finish. I’m sorry! I know! I’m an awful geek. Sci Fi > than Fantasy any day, in my opinion.
The first episode of season 5 of The Guild is online today (or last Tuesday, for you Xbox Livers out there).
New episodes are released each Tuesday on Xbox Live and each Thursday through MSN.com.
…And apparently Steve Jackson games will be releasing a Guild booster pack for Munchkin? Interesting…
What are your thoughts on The Guild, their new episode, and season 5? Any hopes, dreams, guesses? Anyone get to be one the the extras? Anyone else as excited to see Doug Jones in upcoming episodes as I am?
This PSA cracks me up. Guys, bit your tongue just once. Help end Geek on Non-Geek bullying.
When I was little, I LOVED Little Mermaid. Like, wear out the VHS tape watching it every day love. So this nerdy parody is right up my alley.
Now, I’m not saying you have to go play all day in the sun, but getting outside every once in a while this summer may be good for you. Will you venture into the great unknown, or will you be too busy hanging out at Steam Summer Camp?
