Nerd Girl Love Song [4 comments]

I found your new girlfriend. Freakin adorable.
Our friend Freddie made this awesome video showcasing Mario if the game was in first person:
Man, I get WAY more anxious with Mario in first person. (What happens if he falls off one of the sides?!? How does he know how far he has to jump in front of him?)
What do you think: do you prefer Mario as a side-scroller or first person game?
You may have been thinking to yourself: “Where is Kristina? Why hasn’t she been posting recently?”
Kristina’s been rocking out across the USA as part of the Triple Rainbow Awesome Tour. Her band, ALL CAPS, released a new acoustic album (appropriately named “lowercase”) and they’re building buzz surrounding it.
She’s about halfway through the tour, so if you live near one of her concerts, stop by and say “Hi”! (And tell her to come home so she can play games with me and Britt! We miss her!)
Check out one of my fave ALL CAPS videos below:
This is addicting. Enjoy.
Archaeologists will find this one day, and think this is an accurate depiction of our culture. And sadly, they’ll be right. I’m a bit concerned. Now excuse me as I go watch this video again.
How many of these clips have you seen before?
Hello, Zaxy readers!
I’ve been home from tour for about a week now, and though I have been diligently following Tara and Brittney’s posts I have been yet to make one myself as I have been scoping out what exactly my niche here is going to be.
Tara brought me on as your source for Harry Potter, webcomic, Magic the Gathering, and World of Warcraft news, but as you’ll come to learn about me, my other Internet life mostly revolves around YouTube. I have been hesitant to bring YouTube news to Zaxy, as I know it’s not exactly the subject matter generally discussed here, but something has been announced that is too much of an abomination for me to not share with the Zaxy community.
YouTuber Fred Figglehorn, #2 most subscribed on YouTube and #1 most annoying vlogger in existence, is getting his own movie. Thanks a lot, Nickelodeon.
But we already knew that. The news at hand today is that YouTube’s “unlikely hero” (gag me) has launched the first official movie trailer.
Is this really a display of YouTube’s finest hitting the big screen? No. Call me when the Shaytards are getting their own movie; I think I’ll sit this one out.
Hello! I suppose I am one of the new Zaxy girls.
It’s a little weird to figure out how to introduce myself on the Internet. It kind of feels like walking into your own house and introducing yourself to strangers who are sitting in your living room for some reason.
So, hello strangers in my living room. I am Kristina, and I am a geek.
My geekdom started young – I was a book nerd, which turned me into a full-fledged Harry Potter nerd. Harry Potter led me to wizard rock (of which I am one member of the band The Parselmouths) which led me to Youtube, where I vlog under the username “italktosnakes”, as well as on the collab channel “fiveawesomegirls”.
Okay, enough about my Internet street cred; I’m about to leave on a month long summer tour with my band, so I wont be posting as often as I’d like. BUT – I’ll be getting some great coverage of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park, VidCon (the YouTube conference in LA) and letting you know about any other hilarious stuff I encounter on my adventure.
With that, I’ll leave the rest to Tara.
Kristina
PS. I’m also in an electronic nerdrock band called ALL CAPS that sings about robots, zombies and World of Warcraft. I just thought you’d want to know.
