Heck! On the weekends I have a hard enough time just leaving my bed to walk and go grab a soda! My poor little brother is always getting phone calls from me in the other room asking for him to bring me one! :D There’s nothing wrong with that right?
Let me first start off by saying JETPACKS and ASSASSINATIONS! Holy mother of Anakin. As if I wasn’t already excited about Halo: Reach before, I’m now about 2-steps away from jacking some Seattle college n00b’s Vespa and riding it all the way to Kirkland, WA to find Bungie Studios. I want the Beta and I want it RIGHT NOW!
No, this is not about Robert Pattinson happily smiling at you while doing your dishes, so all you Twilighter idiots can go hyperventilate someplace else!
The gnarly, 2-D side-scroller ‘The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai‘ was a violent blood bath fest on XBLA. For some reason I never brought myself to play it. Despite the fact that my list of games to play is more or less turning into a 5ft long pirate’s scroll, (YEEAARGH!) I’m extremely motivated to play it now that Ska Studios has released the trailer for its sequel ‘The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile.’
Seriously. If you are good and I mean REAAAAALLY good, now is the time to finally stop talking crap and do it! MLG (Major League Gaming) alongside with Doritos Frito-Lay have announced ‘Pro-Gaming Combine.’ This is your first chance ever to enter into a nationwide competition to become official Pro Gamers. Starting tonight at 7, tickets go on sale FOR TEAMS at http://www.doritoscombine.com for the Nashville, Tennessee location (March 26th – 28th) and individual player tickets go onsale Wednesday, Feb. 24th.
Man I want to go! Not because I think I have a chance in the world, believe me I’m no TSquared or Walshster, but I wish I could watch and be at the event!
“MOMMMMM!!!! WHERE IN THE HECK YOU PUT ALL MY OLD GAMES!? YOU’RE SO STUPID, LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!! …..BUT SERIOUSLY, WHERE DID YOU PUT THEM?!“
Ha-lay-loo-jah! For all those times I’ve bitterly exchanged used games at GameStop for pitiful chump change, I now can turn in my dust collectors and not feel so taken advantage of! As of today, Gamestop is offering a 50% bonus on up to 5 XBox 360, PS3, or Wii games when you bring them in for trade. Say whaaat! You could get up to $50 for a new game like Mass Effect 2, plus an additional 10% if you have a GameStop Card! Wow, thats almost a perfect deal! Good job GameStop!
NOTE: DO NOT STEAL YOUR FRIENDS, BROTHERS OR FAMILY MEMBERS GAMES FOR TURN IN UNLESS YOU WOULD LIKE A 50% CHANCE BONUS IN HAVING A DENT IN YOUR HINEY OR A VISIT FROM THE MAN.
My first real attempt at a vlog! Yay! This week I asked you guys what you thought of Bioshock 2 and here are some of your responses. I now want to know what you guys think of Fable 3 being no longer labeled an RPG? Also what headphones do you guys use for gaming?! Send me your responses! I want to know!
Ohhh jeez, this is exciting news to my ears. All I’ve been hearing for the past 3 months is how good Modern Warfare 2 is and all I’ve done is just get slaughtered by COD players.
So it’s been quite some time since I’ve played the first Bioshock. I can barely remember who is who and the names of what, but I do remember feeling sheer utter amazement and curiosity when I first started the original! It was amazing! The story kept me so curious and motivated and it is definitely the only scary (semi-scary for you brave-folk) game I’ve ever actually brought myself to play!
So anyway, I bought Bioshock 2 yesterday on the day of it’s release. I loved the original Bioshock and although I was doubtful, I still had high hopes for the sequel. I started playing and I must say that so far I am not thrilled. It seems just… ehhhh. Nothing really captivating or new. Don’t get me wrong, I understand it’s a sequel and it’s the freakin Rapture for heaven’s sakes! But what made me love the original Bioshock so much was it’s mystery and shock/awe values. Wandering into the mysterious underwater city was fascinating and creepy! Given that I’m familiar with Rapture now, the sequel is nothing I’m not used to and much less interesting if you catch my drift.
Sure we’re a Big Daddy who can now drill people, sure we can now go outside of the Rapture and go underwater, sure this little sister is kind of cute and endearing, but it’s still so blah to me! Seems repetative. And with all the other games out there right now, I’m way too underwhelmed with Bioshock 2 to dedicate my time to it. They should have released it before Mass Effect 2 came out and maybe then I’d be more enthusiastic!
