Finally, Shopping for the Undead [3 comments]

October 22, 2010

Guys, Sears just became cool again.

They’re the first retailer to accept that Zombies are people too, and to make a page specially for them.

Let their Zombie Gift Guide help you find something for that special zombie in your life.

Make your own new zombie best friend.

Let their videos help you get back into human shape again!

I’m glad to see the equality they’re really striving for. As a Zombie Ally, I read the page in English, but the page can switch to Zombian for easy communication with the undead.

Genius.

My Latest Obsession: Tee Fury [Add a comment]

At conventions, there’s only one way to rise above the nerd crowds and be titled “nerdiest”. And that’s to have the wittiest tee. At Comicon everyone was about the Fantastic Four and “Expendable” shirts. PAX showed folks in their free-tee swag and “I Roll Twenties” shirts. And some men rose to the challenge and wore shirts that left me gasping, “Where…. where on earth did you find that?”. 9/10 of those people answered Tee Fury.

Boy was I disappointed when I went on the site, only to find that I wouldn’t be able to get the shirts I saw on the floor. Nope, those were gone. In fact, they only have one shirt up a day. But they’re AMAZING.

Today’s is a beautiful combination of my two favorite Dexters: The one with a lab and the one with a killing problem. And it’s only $9. Seriously.

I’ll be checking this site daily and encourage you to do the same. It’s the only way to really stand out on those convention floors.
