I’m guessing you won’t be seeing a lot of sun on this cruise. (Get it? Cause they’re vampires? Right?)
Anyway, if you’re the type of person that enjoys dressing up as vampires and hanging out with other vampires on a cruise, then you’re going to be pretty darn excited. This cruise goes from Vancouver B.C. to Alaska and includes activities such as a ball, fan fiction writing contest, scavanger hunt, talent show, and meet and greets with a variety of actors and writers in the vampire genre. You can find out more information and get your tickets at vampsatsea.com
Would you go on a vampire cruise? And how likely is it that someone is an actual vampire and you will leave with a bit of your blood sucked?
The U.S. version of the Swedish film, “Let The Right One In” is here, and it looks AMAZING. The first film will be a tough one to top, but with Kodi Smit-McPhee (The Road), Chloe Moretz (Kick-Ass) and director Matt Reeves (Cloverfield), this film stands a good chance of doing very well.
At times, I like to be inspired and read stories of our great leaders. Who and what made them the people they became?
I learned the answer today for Abraham Lincoln. Vampires. Apparently while freeing our slaves and rocking the Stovepipe Hat, he was also a really awesome vampire hunter. Or at least according to Seth Grahame-Smith. The author of “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies” has uncovered a secret diary of Lincoln’s and has made it public (via his new book, available on Amazon.com)
I am so freaking excited to read this and learn the true story of one of our greatest leaders.
Take a look at this preview for the book (Yeah, they make previews for books):
Edit: I just heard news that Tim Burton is already looking into producing a film of the book, which came out on Tuesday. Awesome!
