In the excitement of the Hunger Games trailer two days ago, I almost forgot how excited I am for THIS:
I can’t believe how incredible it looks — and how different it appears to be from other Pixar films! It’s the first one featuring a female lead protagonist, and so far, they seem to be doing it justice. The film is also the first to be co-directed by a woman (Brenda Chapman) so personally, I have high hopes for this film as a whole. I love the animation style as well; Merida’s hair looks fantastic.
I had the pleasure of seeing this trailer and a demo of Portal 2′s coop mode at PAX, and I am so psyched. The coop mode is supposed to be twice as long as the original game. It can be played in split screen on consoles or over a network connection, and will be available for PS3, XBOX 360, PC, and Mac on February 9, 2011. Just in time for Valentine’s Day. So find a loved one, get cozy with a bottle of wine, and send each other into an infinite loop.
Is it just me, or are video game trailers becoming more intriguing than most movie trailers?
Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction Coming April 13, 2010
Maybe it’s because video games are just generally appealing, OR maybe it’s because video games have started to feel more and more like interactive movies..
Metaphorically speaking, GTA4 would be considered one of the best movies I’ve ever watched for 3 days, 12 hours a day, when my brother and his friends played it during the summer a couple years ago.
Splinter Cell: Conviction looks pretty neat. I got to see the game at PAX East but unfortunately didn’t get a chance to play it. From what I DO know, it looked clean, interesting and people were really enjoying themselves during multiplayer. I say its worth the time to at least try it out, guess I’ll be downloading the demo tonight on XBL!
Welp, now it has been officially announced that Nintendo will be releasing the Nintendo 3DS (a 3-D handheld console without the need for 3-D glasses) before the end of March 2011 and after June of 2010. Wow. REEEAL specific! Way to narrow it down there guys!
If the new Tron Legacy trailer doesn’t give you goosebumps, you might be a robot.
If you are a die-hard fan of the original Tron, you may be critical and less than optimistic on the new Tron Legacy film that’s coming out. However, if you’re someone like me who wasn’t totally in love with the original, you can only have high hopes thats it’s going to be as good as it looks in the trailer!
Regardless of what kind of fan you are, die-hard or not at all, nobody can deny the awesomeness of Jeff Bridges, along with the incredible special effects & soundtrack this movie is set to have.
Take a look at the original Tron (1982) in comparison to Tron Legacy (2010)
I’m so excited for it to come out at the end of this year!
Oh my Holy Grail! It’s God of War III and it looks amazing! Release Date: March 16th. (Better hurry and finish FFXIII!) IGN gave it a review of 9.3, which is “Outstanding.” They also posted a video review (click here to watch) and tons of screenshots that will leave your eyes bulging out of their sockets, gushing to play.
It’s times like these that make many people like me grumble for being such strong advocates of Xbox 360, and not caring enough about the PS3. Well, I take that back. I just grumble about certain PS3 exclusive games, really. It’s like when I was in Elementary School & my classmates and I had to choose certain color crayons & because I picked all the blue ones (my favorite ones), I couldn’t draw a freaking sunshine with grass like some of my friends when I wanted to! However, I could make the coolest ocean with an invisible monster you’ve ever seen! It really makes us Xbox 360ers, who love all of our favorite games, really sit and think about what is happening outside of the box. (Not much, but still.) I want God of War III!
