Guys, I swear I’m not giving up until every single one of you watches the new MLP series, “Friendship is Magic”. In this season’s premiere (which aired this last Saturday on the Hub Network), the end scene (not to give away spoilers or anything) closely parodies an iconic scene from Star Wars.
If you don’t already have an Xbox/Kinect, may we suggest you get this sweet set up? Microsoft (and @MajorNelson) announced the pre-sale of their Star Wars themed consoles at SDCC yesterday. The console/controller combo, inspired by R2-D2 and C3PO, will be available in the Fall for $449. It includes the Kinect sensor, a 320GB harddrive, and Star Wars Kinect and Kinect Adventures.
Will you be getting your name on the list for this console?
We had such a blast at Emerald City Comic Con, and can’t wait to blog/vlog all about it in the next day or two. But while we finish recovering and gain our voices back, I thought I’d share this video with you all.
I met R2-D2. He stared at my chest and whistled at me. Then he ran away from my friend. He’s a jerk.
Thanks a lot, R2-D2. C-3PO was always my favorite, anyway.
Don’t want the holidays to end quite yet? Well, here you go. The Star Wars Holiday Special, abridged down to about 5 minutes. And let me tell you, it’s about 5 minutes too long.
Here are some wicked Star Wars snowflakes. I can’t even fathom how these were made. I mean, obviously with paper and scissors (duh, Tara), but the talent of this woman is a bit beyond my level.
I tried my hand at snowflake making. Just one more reason I hate the winter.
Are any of you more talented with scissors? Leave pics of your best snowflake in the comments or on our Facebook wall!
