Oh my Holy Grail! It’s God of War III and it looks amazing! Release Date: March 16th. (Better hurry and finish FFXIII!) IGN gave it a review of 9.3, which is “Outstanding.” They also posted a video review (click here to watch) and tons of screenshots that will leave your eyes bulging out of their sockets, gushing to play.
It’s times like these that make many people like me grumble for being such strong advocates of Xbox 360, and not caring enough about the PS3. Well, I take that back. I just grumble about certain PS3 exclusive games, really. It’s like when I was in Elementary School & my classmates and I had to choose certain color crayons & because I picked all the blue ones (my favorite ones), I couldn’t draw a freaking sunshine with grass like some of my friends when I wanted to! However, I could make the coolest ocean with an invisible monster you’ve ever seen! It really makes us Xbox 360ers, who love all of our favorite games, really sit and think about what is happening outside of the box. (Not much, but still.) I want God of War III!
These guys are the coolest. And by coolest, I mean nerdiest. Their D&D room includes props from the movies and dimming lights, strobes, and fog machines, all able to be controlled by the DM.
The one thing that concerns me: You need a handmade skeleton key to exit the room. Seriously? You can get locked in this dungeon? I’d like to be able to get up and use the bathroom/ get more snacks when I play D&D, not have to beg the DM to release me. Yikes.
In similar news, Jill’s never played D&D and I am excited to introduce her. I’m looking at a couple campaigns/groups right now, and should be finding one for us to jump into shortly! Stay tuned.
To all you Braid fans, I’m sure you’ll be excited to know that designer Jonathan Blow’s newest project titled, ‘The Witness’ has had a lot of update releases this past week. The game’s official website is fronted with some poetic, ‘Jonathan Blow-ian,’ insightful mumbo jumbo:
(I R ROBOT, THIS DOES NOT COMPUTE)
I have no idea what the crap any of that means but the site later describes the game as “a exploration-puzzle game on an uninhabited island,” so I’m alright. They also released some concept art which looks pretty promising.
Nifty. Braid was so amazing, let’s hope this can amount to our poetic, philosophical, puzzle-playing satisfaction. It’s just too bad we have to wait til late 2011! Sad face.
Holy eff. A DS with motion tracking, how much do I love thee? Let me count the ways. This makes me want to smash my regular Nintendo DS on the groud. STUPID PIECE OF TRASH! YOU MEAN NOTHING TO ME NOW!
An amazing video & song created by music artist Pogo. The song is made purely from music & sound clips in the movie ‘Hook.’ While watching this, I got choked up remembering my love for this as a youngster. Heart.
The Star Wars x Adidas Originals Collection has been revealed!

Star Wars x adidas Originals 2010 Collection – Fighter
Star Wars x adidas Originals 2010 Collection – Princess Leia
Ohhh jeez, this is exciting news to my ears. All I’ve been hearing for the past 3 months is how good Modern Warfare 2 is and all I’ve done is just get slaughtered by COD players.
Did anybody else about burst with envy when they saw transparent, illusive monitors being used in the movie Avatar? (*GASP* Sooooooo beautiful!) Well, Samsung wants to release them this year! Continue Reading…
