Thanks to you readers and all the amazing feedback, Zaxy.com is fortunate enough to have it’s first two sponsors! Not only that, but they are some amazing companies to have bestowed upon our grateful hearts.

Our first sponsor, CLEAR™ is the amazing 4G WiMAX mobile internet service. I will be at SXSW hanging out at CLEAR’s video game & music booth. I’ll hopefully be PWNing some SXSW band asses at MW2 through the dates of March 16th – 20th! So stay posted for my twitter updates!

We also have the courtesy of going to Boston with PlayOn for PAX East! PlayOn is a digital media server that streams internet media from your PC to your Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 so that you can watch all of your favorite shows online, on your TV! Tara and I will be at their booth March 26th – 28th and we couldn’t be more excited!
Are you going to be at SXSW or PAX East? Let us know! Tell us!
Playstation’s new motion controller device ‘Move’ has officially been announced for late 2010! Playstation has released a trailer so we can see what we’ll look like whilst playing..
..Cooool dude. Who is going to want to play like that in front of their friends/girlfriends/boyfriends/? What I really want to know is how the HECK did they TRANSFORM that girl INTO THREE PEOPLE! If they can do that… then I don’t even want to know what kinds of trouble people will get into. JK I know thats not really how it is… or is it?! (QUIT TEASING US!)
Oh my Holy Grail! It’s God of War III and it looks amazing! Release Date: March 16th. (Better hurry and finish FFXIII!) IGN gave it a review of 9.3, which is “Outstanding.” They also posted a video review (click here to watch) and tons of screenshots that will leave your eyes bulging out of their sockets, gushing to play.
It’s times like these that make many people like me grumble for being such strong advocates of Xbox 360, and not caring enough about the PS3. Well, I take that back. I just grumble about certain PS3 exclusive games, really. It’s like when I was in Elementary School & my classmates and I had to choose certain color crayons & because I picked all the blue ones (my favorite ones), I couldn’t draw a freaking sunshine with grass like some of my friends when I wanted to! However, I could make the coolest ocean with an invisible monster you’ve ever seen! It really makes us Xbox 360ers, who love all of our favorite games, really sit and think about what is happening outside of the box. (Not much, but still.) I want God of War III!
Wow Sony. This is a big whoops! Remain in the dark no longer! Your questions are answered.
A glitch in the Playstation 3 systems caused a serious uproar yesterday when users found that they could not connect to the Playstation Network or for some, even play their PS3 at all. The glitch also raped certain users of their player data and game achievements which devastated players with all their hard earned trophies. Sony has not released any information on the number of data loss casualties, as they are kicking themselves in the butt right now for having their market just finally pick up.
Sony has confirmed that the error was caused by a Y2K-like glitch in which the older models viewed 2010 as a leap year. Owners of the newer Slim models appear to be unaffected by this catastrophe while older system consumers remain scared and torn from the incident.
Thanks to Joystiq, be not confused any longer! Your questions are answered:
Q.Is it safe to turn on my PS3 now? A. Right now, it appears the answer is “yes.” The PlayStation Network is online and fully functional for owners of the PS3 Phat system, and games appear to be running problem-free. Sony has yet to issue an official “you can use your PS3″ statement, however.
Q. Do I have to download a firmware update? A. Nope. The problem should just fix itself automatically, whether you’re online or not.
Q.My Trophy data for [insert game here] is gone! (I know, I know — that’s not a question, but still!) A. If you lost any Trophy data over the past 24 hours, there may be a way to salvage it. Launch the game for which you’re trying to restore Trophies and it should automatically recreate a Trophy data set on your PS3’s memory, which you can then sync with the PSN server (just by opening up your Trophy list in the XMB). Our Heavy Rain Trophies had vanished, but this trick brought them back from the ether.
Q.The time and date on my PS3 are wrong. How do I fix this? A.Under Settings in the XMB, then under the Time/Date settings, you should be able to set your console to automatically sync the time and date via the internet.
*A moment of silence for all the PS3 users that were robbed of their hard earned gaming careers, I hope you are able to restore your achievements & may the force be with you..*
“MOMMMMM!!!! WHERE IN THE HECK YOU PUT ALL MY OLD GAMES!? YOU’RE SO STUPID, LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!! …..BUT SERIOUSLY, WHERE DID YOU PUT THEM?!“
Ha-lay-loo-jah! For all those times I’ve bitterly exchanged used games at GameStop for pitiful chump change, I now can turn in my dust collectors and not feel so taken advantage of! As of today, Gamestop is offering a 50% bonus on up to 5 XBox 360, PS3, or Wii games when you bring them in for trade. Say whaaat! You could get up to $50 for a new game like Mass Effect 2, plus an additional 10% if you have a GameStop Card! Wow, thats almost a perfect deal! Good job GameStop!
NOTE: DO NOT STEAL YOUR FRIENDS, BROTHERS OR FAMILY MEMBERS GAMES FOR TURN IN UNLESS YOU WOULD LIKE A 50% CHANCE BONUS IN HAVING A DENT IN YOUR HINEY OR A VISIT FROM THE MAN.
So today is Valentine’s Day! I’m so thankful for my wonderful boyfriend that served me breakfast in bed and planned a huge romantic day with dinner & movies and– wait, I don’t have a boyfriend! …Hmpf. None of that actually happened and quite frankly, I don’t really care caz V-Day is for boring people! People that have nothing better to do than to waste all their time, effort, money and sanity on one another, depriving them of a perfectly good, happy life! What losers! Don’t you guys have anything better to do?
Who wants to spend an entire day doing crap for somebody else, when you could be at home playing the stack of games you’ve been so behind on! (EXCEPTION: V-Day with Michael Fox. Heart.) Somebody that would spend the day with me sitting on the floor playing Xbox and bring me Tim’s Cascade Jalapeno Chips & soda is what I’m talkin about!
However, I do like the idea of recieving V-Day gifts. Eff the gift giving back, I just want this little guy!
SOOOOOO KEYOOOTEZ!~!*!~!*@
So this year for Valentine’s Day, I’d like to spend it playing Little Big Planet. I’ll participate in the V-Day traditions of gift-recieving and gift-playing if someone would be willing to buy me a PS3. Otherwise I am just too busy for this mushy gushy holiday!
