Raise your hand if you’ve ever thought about playing the Lost numbers in the lottery, even though we all know that winning the lottery with those numbers completely messed up Hurley’s life in a terrible way?
Now keep your hands up if you’re not a chicken so you played them anyway, throwing caution to the wind because really — how cool would it be to WIN with the Lost numbers?
Well, 9,078 people felt the same way tonight. That’s how many people each received $150 in their split winnings after playing the numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, and 42 in the MegaMillions.
The winning numbers were 4-8-15-25-47 and the megaball was 42.

Dude. WHY DIDN’T I BUY A TICKET?
In other apocalyptic, end of the world news, over a thousand dead black birds rained down on Arkansas last week. Like, for real.
So, clearly… there’s going to be another blackout.

Can anyone help this poor guy find his lost dog?

Flyer found posted in Ireland. Who knew.
Honestly, I think if I found him, I’d keep him. But don’t tell Han.

So about a week ago I started watching LOST Season 1. (Word of advice: Don’t ever start watching LOST on an airplane!) I only started watching it out of pure boredom, which then turned into easy entertainment and now has become my obsession! I am DETERMINED to catch up before the final season finale so that I don’t get Snape Kills Dumbledore‘d after it airs on TV. I only have a matter of weeks to catch up! It’s shameful to say that when I get off work at 5 o’clock, I rush home, skip the chores, grab my puppy, grab some food and a beverage, and have a LOST-fest til I can’t stand to keep my eyes open anymore.
Since doing so, I’ve had frequent nightmares, I once woke up screaming (I heard myself mid-scream.. WEEIRD!!) and I’m terrified of the dark, imagining Walt covered in water in my bedroom. All of that aside, I’M LOVING IT! I think my friends are a little annoyed by my constant play by play text commentary (*ZOMG JACK & KATE JUST KISSED!*, *ZOMG I HATE SAWYER!* *ZOMG MICHAEL NEEDS TO CALM DOWN!*), but this show is totally worth the 2 weeks of laundry I’ve put behind me.

With that said, Splinter Cell: Conviction came out yesterday. I hope you all enjoy playing it, seeing as how I wont be able to manage the time for it just yet. (Damn me for not having a clone!) I saw the game at PAX which initially sparked my interest. The graphics look amazing! It has some kind of nice & clean-feel to it and I really look forward to playing multiplayer, however I cannot risk the finale of LOST being spoiled by any distraction.
I’m hoping that I’m not crazy (as I previously thought all LOST people were) and that I’ll be catchin up soon! (1 & 2 – LONGEST SEASONS EVER.) I’d like to hear some input on SCC since I haven’t read much about it yet. If it’s *“The most epic game evar!-omg-omg-omg!!..”,* I’d definitely be willing to sacrifice a few hours from my busy LOST-fest schedule to see what it’s all about. If not, you can bet your bottom I’ll be at home ranting about Sawyer being a jerk, Kate bein a slut and OMG Jack! Knock it off with the temper tantrums! YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE MY FAVORITE!!

CHILLIN IN MAH DETH BED! .. COUGHIN TERROR IN MAH BEDROOMZ!
Jill here! Really though, I am Bronchitisaurus.
I have bronchitis and a dinosaur roar for a cough. THE PLAGUE HAS TAKEN OVER! Damn you, PAX! Seriously, I’ve heard rumors but … what the hell, man? I’ve been so sick I’ve hardly had a grip on typing or even just using my computer in general! I’m always second guessing myself, ‘is it the sickness doing this or is this really me?’ I never know.
I wanted to bring up the fact that today was April Fools. Yes, Tara pulled a prank to which a few of you didn’t understand and probably still think remains true. Shoot, *personally* I think Jason and Tyler are some dang sexy alias’s if I don’t mind sayin so myself. I think I should make a blog where Tara and I secretly pose as those identities and be the secret writers behind their images. (….or ya know..like not.) Anyways, if you guys didn’t get the joke, I would seriously reconsider & second guess everything you’ve heard today if I were you. (The Indian Halo movie on IGN IS NOT REAL, Lindsay Lohan did not die and Conan apparently is only semi-tired as he revealed on his twitter.)
Me however, I DO NOT DO APRIL FOOLS! IT IS A NASTY AWFUL HOLIDAY THAT TORTURES ME EVERY YEAR! I’ve been disappointed 3 separate times today. Two of which were by ThinkGeek.com!
The iPad Arcade Case:

& the Dharma Initiative Clock

What’s most embarrassing about these incidents is that I didn’t even find out that they were April Fools jokes til I actually tried to BUY one of them! The Dharma Initiative Clock was too good to be true! (*Sigh*) … Though, there is a chance that they will actually make these items, I’m kinda hoping they wont make the iCade. I don’t want to have to buy an iPad and that thing.. is just *way* too cute for me to pass up!
Alrighty then, back to chillinz in mah deathbedz! Glad April Fools is over, hope you all had a good one! Rest easy and I hope all my PAX peeps start feelin better!

Tara here, back from PAX East, the second best gaming convention in the country (next to PAX Prime, that is!). I’m exhausted, excited, and full of game knowledge and new dice. But before we give you all the beautifully gory details, how about we tell you why we were there?
PlayOn had a booth at PAX and brought us along to be a part of it. We’re huge fans of the service and were so psyched when they invited us to come along to represent them. We had a great time demo-ing the service and watching our fave Hulu shows.
But what exactly is PlayOn?

PlayOn is a software program that streams media to your gaming systems. It downloads to your PC and connects through your home network to your PS3, XBOX 360, or Wii. You can then use your game controller or connected remote to browse through tons of streaming channels like Hulu, Comedy Central, Adult Swim, ESPN, and CNN. If you have subscriptions to Netflix Streaming or MLB.TV, you can watch those on there as well.
Some of the most popular shows demoed at PAX were: Archer, House, Family Guy, and Lost. (Jill just started Lost and I’m about to start as well, so no spoilers, please!)
I really like PlayOn because it’s an easy way to see the shows I want when I want, and I don’t have to pay for cable. I believe 38% of PlayOn’s customers have canceled their cable and just stream everything.
Because it’s software, they just charge a one time fee for the lifetime license. Then you can use it to stream whenever you want–forever! The fee is $39.99. If you want to check it out before you buy, they offer a free 14 day trial. Check it out!
A couple of quick notes based on FAQs at PAX:
-This is meant for Windows based PCs, but if you have a Mac, you can use Parallels or Boot Camp
-You can play existing media from your computer. If you want to showcase pictures, play music, or watch a downloaded program from your pc on your tv, you can do that.
-The amount of channels available are always increasing, due to third party plug-ins being created. You can see these here.
Anyway, they were great sponsors at PAX and we recommend you check them out! Be on the look out for more footage/reviews from PAX in the next couple days!
