Irrational Games is running a contest in which you can get something in Bioshock Infinite named after you. And all you have to do is submit your name. Pretty freakin’ awesome. I already submitted mine- have you put yours in yet?
My first real attempt at a vlog! Yay! This week I asked you guys what you thought of Bioshock 2 and here are some of your responses. I now want to know what you guys think of Fable 3 being no longer labeled an RPG? Also what headphones do you guys use for gaming?! Send me your responses! I want to know!
So it’s been quite some time since I’ve played the first Bioshock. I can barely remember who is who and the names of what, but I do remember feeling sheer utter amazement and curiosity when I first started the original! It was amazing! The story kept me so curious and motivated and it is definitely the only scary (semi-scary for you brave-folk) game I’ve ever actually brought myself to play!
So anyway, I bought Bioshock 2 yesterday on the day of it’s release. I loved the original Bioshock and although I was doubtful, I still had high hopes for the sequel. I started playing and I must say that so far I am not thrilled. It seems just… ehhhh. Nothing really captivating or new. Don’t get me wrong, I understand it’s a sequel and it’s the freakin Rapture for heaven’s sakes! But what made me love the original Bioshock so much was it’s mystery and shock/awe values. Wandering into the mysterious underwater city was fascinating and creepy! Given that I’m familiar with Rapture now, the sequel is nothing I’m not used to and much less interesting if you catch my drift.
Sure we’re a Big Daddy who can now drill people, sure we can now go outside of the Rapture and go underwater, sure this little sister is kind of cute and endearing, but it’s still so blah to me! Seems repetative. And with all the other games out there right now, I’m way too underwhelmed with Bioshock 2 to dedicate my time to it. They should have released it before Mass Effect 2 came out and maybe then I’d be more enthusiastic!
Its Feb. 9th already! That means time to switch from Mass Effect 2 to Bioshock 2! Tis’ the season for sequels? Hopefully Bioshock will match up to the hype. I don’t know why but I don’t have much confidence! The first Bioshock was good and really creeped me out. I just don’t think that the story will be as creepy playing a Big Daddy instead of Jack!
However, even though I’m doubtful in its greatness, I know that I’ll still be scared to death. If there’s one thing in this world that I’m afraid of, it’s demented little girls. DON’T EVEN get me STARTED on the movie The Ring! * Seven days..* AHH!
