Star Wars- The Animated Comedy Series? [5 comments]

Lucasfilm is reportedly developing a Star Wars animated comedy series with the “Robot Chicken” team. No network has been mentioned yet, but I wouldn’t surprised if this was a Comedy Central or Adult Swim kind of thing.
As Seth Green, one of the Robot Chicken creators said, “The ‘Star Wars’ universe is so dense and rich; it’s crazy to think that there aren’t normal, mundane everyday problems in a world so well-defined. What do these characters do when they’re not overthrowing empires?”
What do you think about a Star Wars animated comedy?
I personally think that there’s only room for one animated comedy space series in this Universe, and Futurama’s got it.

i think a day-in-the-life show following mundane aspects of star wars characters could be funny for an episode or two, but i think it could very quickly get pretty tired
I think it has a lot of good posibilities. Just look at all the funny Fan Films out there.
Plus I’ve had a lot of funnies things happen when playing Star Wars Saga Edition.
Maybe we can get it set up after the good trilogy? A force sensitive Ewok is always funny.
