Nintendo NES With 5 Games Sells For Over $13,000 On Ebay [2 comments]

HOLY MONEY!

Apparently, some woman had an old Nintendo NES with 5 games stored in her closet for many, many years and decided to sell her collection on Ebay. Little did she know that one of her games, Stadium Events, is one of the rarest licensed Nintendo games ever to be released in North America. According to racketboy, only 2000 copies were actually produced and less than 250 were actually sold to consumers before it was recalled. It is believed that less than 10 copies exist to this day, only one of which is still in factory wrappings!

Get this, the BOX and the MANUAL are worth THOUSANDS more than the game itself! Thats just nuts! Congratulations Lady!

Thanks to Jonathan, who really likes Entertonement.

that’s awesome. Insane, but awesome. :D I should go thru my old stuff too.

  2. That was an amazing event for NES gamers ! Hopefully they will now receive the recogniton they deserve. These legendary machines are still the most reliable, and some would argue enjoyable, gaming platforms. I have had one for over 25 years and it still works great. The newer gen. ( high graphic ) machines are finicky & technically prone to errors or failures. Last week on EBay, the consoles could be had for $10 to $20 and now they are going for big bucks. Only in America
