My first real attempt at a vlog! Yay! This week I asked you guys what you thought of Bioshock 2 and here are some of your responses. The game really didnt impress me at all. It felt more like an expansion than a new installment. Its the old game with new content. And in such a demanding industry you cant afford that. I couldnt force myself to play through the whole game.
They could have at least improved the graphics. Its like none of the game features have improved at all.
Look at what BioWare did with Mass Effect 2. They revamped everything about the game. They took a lot of risks but with a lot of talent and support they managed to pull of one of the best RPG’s of all time. I know we talk about different genres here but still… Bioshock 2 as a product cant even compare to Mass Effect 2. Its a joke. And an insult to the people buying the game. Its like the time stopped for Bioshock.
Im really disappointed.
Your initial video was fun to watch. It didn’t run too long, you touched on a few points without visiting any one for too long, and you’re really attempting to encourage interaction and feedback– which I think is pretty important for any writer in this arena. (I also loved the Super Mario 64 BGM in the background; awesome touch!)
