Musical Talent + Video Games = Genius [4 comments]

Your parents paid for classical music training. You went to the lessons, but the whole time you were waiting to get home to play your Super Nintendo. Now you have great musical knowledge, and a passion for gaming. What to do?

Spend all of your free time making one of these amazing songs.

Check out the amazing skills of this guy who Violins his way through Super Mario Bros.!

And don’t forget the next-Justin-Bieber who created a great one-man rendition of the Pokemon theme. (Because the only thing sadder than creating an acapella version of the Pokemon theme is creating it by yourself…)

All kidding aside, these kids are darn impressive. I’m glad to see they’re putting their training to good use!

Both of those were really good. I liked the Japanese kid playing the theme to Mario on his violin, but in all honesty I really enjoyed the acapella done for the Pokemon Theme. Acapella renditions have always been soemthing I have enjoyed. There is one on youtube where a guy does acapella to a bunch of John Williams (the guy who did Star Wars music and so forth) songs but he puts words to it; and they are pretty funny.
