I’ve been told in the past that I remind people of Anne Hathaway. Not even necessarily just physical traits, but in the way I carry myself and my mannerisms. (I think a lot of this is based off of her portrayal of a clumsy girl in The Princess Diaries. Seriously. I run into my coffee table on a daily basis.) So when I heard she was playing Catwoman, I got BEYOND excited. Finally–the ideal cosplay project for me! Now I just need to get a better view of her costume. There have been a few quick shots of her costume, and I found this video yesterday:
(So excited for the shoes and goggles! Check out more pics/videos at comicbookmovie.com)
Anyway, now I have to start figuring how to make the thing (while holding out for more detailed photos in the future). Do you have any suggestions on where to start looking for leather body suits? How I should make the goggles? Let me know! I’d love your input. And follow along, I’ll post more updated photos as I find them, as well as progress on my costume!
By now you all know that The Hobbit is in production, and will be in theaters in 2012. But do you know the story of The Hobbit? The Brothers Grim and Grimy are here to help!
I had to read The Hobbit in elementary school. It was the first book I couldn’t finish. I’m sorry! I know! I’m an awful geek. Sci Fi > than Fantasy any day, in my opinion.
I posted on Zaxy about the new original Pixar film “Brave” before, but I am still just so excited about it. So today, you get the newly released teaser trailer.
The colors! The scenery! This film looks so different than past Pixar works and I can’t wait for it to come out. The film is getting press for being Pixar’s first flick with a female main character, and what a way to go that direction, since Princess Merida looks like a total boss. Release is set for June 22, 2012.
Emma Stone (of Zombieland) will be fighting zombies once again if she takes the lead in “Pride, Prejudice and Zombies”, which was offered to her today.
I’m a fan of Stone and a fan of zombies, so I’m looking forward to this flick. And I’m extremely intrigued by the main two production companies: Natalie Portman’s and Richard Kelly’s Darko Films. Looks like we can expect some romance and comedy from Portman and some dark wtf moments from Kelly.
Have you read the book? Are you looking forward to the movie?
This documentary will show us all that goes into creating an indie video game, and leave us with a better appreciation for the finished product that we get to play with.
The film’s currently being made, and their kickstarter campaign to continue filming surpassed its goal in 24 hours. Still want to donate/pre-order your copy of the DVD? You can do so here.
Looks like Zaxy may need to have some sort of screening when it comes out…
Hello! I’m thrilled to be back in the US and just in time for the start of summer!
When I was a kid, the first day of summer would be like the start of a new year: a chance to create resolutions and pick up new projects. A time to recreate myself before the next school year. Even though I now have to work through summers like a big kid (boo), I still like to pick a few projects to work on. If you’re still looking for something to do, may I suggest this Howcast video to get you started?
