Back To The Future: The Game? [4 comments]

Telltale Games has teamed up with NBC Universal to create video games in the worlds of Back To The Future and Jurassic Park. Both games are set to release in the winter, with Back To The Future coming first. Or Telltale can take me up on MY idea, and combine them for a wicked cool crossover.
After talks with my friends last night, we’ve decided that the original actors should NOT be used to voice the characters. That would just be uncomfortable.
What do you think about these games? Would you play them?

*sigh* It seems that every movie made into a video game (and some video games made into movies) come very close to being EPIC fails. The only thing that could possibly save this is, yes, a crossover where you have to run from dinosaurs in your time traveling Delorian, and in the end your get to travel to the future and realize that you destroyed society by running over too many bugs. Play this game? No thanks.
the only downside would be knowing the ultimate outcome already, they would have to add a lot of extra stuff to make it interesting.
Interesting. I wonder why they are planning on creating these games now? Is it to drum up interest in either a Back to The Future 4 and/or Jurassic Park 4?
Back to the Future is such a great trilogy, both for the casual movie fan and the philosophy-of-time-loving ultra nerd.
If they make it, I’ll buy it.
